Working alongside our affiliated rail service partner RVEL Ltd, GSE can support locomotive operators and engine manufacturers alike.
With impressive workshop facilities including a large engine bay coupled with overhead cranes capable of lifting 50 tonnes. All aspects of engine support are provided including complete ‘offsite’ engine overhaul, along with total component re-conditioning.
Recent Projects:
Major overhauls of English electric engines for Network Rail operated locomotives, alongside ongoing service and breakdown support of RVEL supported traction vehicles.
Contracted by MAN Diesel Service UK as OEM representatives supporting Alstom built diesel-electric locomotives, operating in Syria, IRR Iran and Sri Lanka. maintaining 12 & 16 cylinder RK215 engines.
